Easter clearance at Target has begun! Let me start by saying I was SHOCKED and I do mean SHOCKED at how much my store had left. While there were not a lot of non-perishable items, there was SO much candy!
If you are headed out to your Target store today, you should find non-perishable Easter clearance at 50% off, including pillows, stuffed animals, dishes, and more.
Clearance can and will vary by store, but hopefully this will give you some idea of what to look for…
Be sure and watch for Easter baskets that can be repurposed too! The elephant one would make for a really cute baby shower gift basket, and the wooden one would just need to have the lining removed or replaced so it could be used year round!

For those of you headed out to Target today- you should find much of whatever Easter inventory your store has left up to 50% Off. Easter Target clearance is also a great time to pick up non-perishables for next year- like Plastic Eggs, Easter Baskets, decorations, dye kits, paper plates and other festive disposable party items.
My store had very little left, but there were a few non-perishables marked down 50%. Some of the signs said 30, but they were ringing up at 50%.
Super-cute throw pillows 50% off, regularly $10 – $15, so just $5 – $7.50 each. A few dishcloths which could be used year round, and bunny ceramics also 50% off, which would be great for next year.
Fun wreaths, signs and other home decor all 50% off. These would be great to buy now and hold for next Spring!
Candy & food items were 30% Off to start, and usually they drop to 50% when non-perishables go to 70.
My store was pretty bare not too long after opening! I did find a few candy items at 30%, including a couple of bags of Hershey’s kisses.
And, a couple dozen bags of Brach’s jelly beans at 30% off down to $2.09, regularly $2.99.
Only a few lonely chocolate bunnies, also at 30% off.
Reese’s mallow-top Marshmallow flavored creme topped peanut butter cups also 30% off down to $2.51.
It seemed the item my store had the most of were these Peeps Hot Tamales!
Ghirardelli bunnies also 30% off down to $3 a bag.
Keep in mind signs can also be misleading as in the picture above. While the jelly beans were 30% off, the non-perishables on the shelf were at 50. So be sure and scan if you aren’t sure!
Also be sure and take a look around the regular aisles too for items that may not have gotten moved back to the Easter clearance section, like baby apparel with bunnies and chicks on them and arts & crafts items. While I did not find any perusing my store, I sometimes find these items a day or two later at my store!

My friend Christie headed out to check out her local Boynton Beach, Florida store and she found 70% off most non-perishable Easter. Not all stores drop at once, but if you don’t see 70% signs- don’t forget to scan just in case the signs haven’t been switched out yet.
Watch for anything non-perishable that you can use for the following year like Decor, gift bags, paper goods & more. It’s great to be able to save now instead of paying a higher price next year like Easter Egg dying kits and other supplies. Christie also had just a TON of leftover Easter baskets and some of them were very non-holiday looking this year, so they would make for a great starting point for all different types of gift baskets all year round.
Candy and food also dropped for her down to 50%, and I just can’t even believe how much she has left. Remember- the majority of the Easter clearance will not have stickers- so you will need to verify your prices at the scanner. If you didn’t drop to 70/50 today- there’s a good chance that many more stores will drop tomorrow Friday, April 26th.
We usually only see 2 or 3 days between 70 & 90 too, so if you went to 70 today, it could go to 90 as early as Saturday or Sunday. Nothing is set in stone with Target though, and all stores do not drop at the same time, so it’s something to watch closely on your own!

Also watch for some of the Easter Basket stuffer toys which would also make great stocking stuffers to hold for Christmas or that would make great party favors. You may also want to check the One Spot for Easter clearance too, but some stores may have already pulled into the clearance Holiday section.

Also be sure and check Bullseye Playground for possible Easter Clearance. Karen’s store had moved everything back to Easter, and it’s likely most of your stores will do the same, but it’s worth a quick look just in case things got left behind.
And also take a look around for items you may be able to re-purpose for another holiday- like a Birthday, baby shower or even everyday use. For example – sometimes I will use the paper Easter grass for filler in a gift bag instead of tissue paper. And be sure to check other parts of the store too. Some stores don’t get everything moved back to the Easter clearance section right away, and you don’t want to miss any possible goodies.
