One of the things I really love about Target is their Price Match guarantee! If you are shopping this holiday season, the good news is Target also has a Holiday price match guarantee. While their regular guarantee only extends two weeks, the holiday price match stretches it for a longer period of time (all the way thru Christmas Eve)!
This means you can rest assured that when you buy, you’ll get the best price for the season. When you purchase an item, if you see a lower price before Christmas, you can request a price adjustment.
There are a few things you need to know before requesting a price match. First, you will need to show proof of purchase. Second, if you are requesting a price match from a competitor, you have up to 14 days to do so (remember during the holidays you will have thru December 24th). There are only select competitors that Target will price match – Amazon & Walmart, (and Target itself).
Third, Target will only price match the EXACT same item and it has to be a current lower price. Target will need to verify by viewing the current listing online or viewing a printed ad. To make your request process go smoothly, bring in proof via a digital or printed ad and your receipt if you already purchased the product.
Target will price match in 48 states, Hawaii and Alaska are excluded. There are also some exclusions from the Price Match Guarantee at Target. Here is what is EXCLUDED: clearance, closeout, damaged, opened, used, liquidation sales, pre-owned items, Target Plus Partners, and erroneous listings. You also can not price match if you bought the item in a Target store, and the lower price is from a different Target store.
This also includes items that had some sort of error in the listing. Competitor’s doorbusters and lightning deals are also excluded. There are also a few additional exclusions, such as items from Circle and gift card offers. There are a few additional exclusions, and you can check out the full policy online.
While the regular price match guarantee is 14 days, keep in mind over the holiday shopping season the time frame is extended all the way thru December 24th! This means you can buy with confidence knowing if the item you buy pops up in an Early Black Friday or Holiday Best deal at a lower price, Target will price match it for you!
How to price match? If you are shopping in store you can request a price match at checkout and if you are shopping online you can call 800-591-3869 or use Target online chat. Just make sure you have proof of the lower price on hand.

NEWEST TARGET BRAND EXCLUSIVES
A new Squishmallow Bullseye the Dog, and a new Pez Bullseye Dispenser dropped today! Both are available for online ordering at the moment, and the Squishmallow should be available in stores as well. My store was still unpacking them, so I will have to run back up there or order online.
TARGET BRANDED MERCH MINIVERSE
I was very happy to see the elusive Target Foods Miniverse show up both in store for me (as well as a lot more locations) and for ordering online!
I picked these up this morning, so I have not had time to actually make them yet. However, I thought I’d share as much info as I can for those of you hunting for a particular one in store.
There has been some misinformation being passed around, so I am going to give you as much information as I can based on what I personally found. Here are some hints to help determine which Miniverse Target Foods are inside the capsules.
There are twelve different varieties, and what you will get will be a surprise. There does not appear to be any distinctive markings (despite rumors to the contrary) to definitively determine what is inside before you buy. The twelve are as follows: Lava Cakes, Ice Cream Sundae, Madelines, Mini Cupcakes, Frosted Sugar Cookies, Bullseye Cookies, Lobster Ravioli, Margherita Pizza, Mixed Salas, Blueberry Pancakes, Cinnamon Rolls, and Caramel Popcorn.
All of them include a super cute Bullseye the dog that can be attached to the lid of the ball and fun stickers.
The first one I opened made me so happy! It was the Bullseye Cookies. This one weighed in for me a 90.3 grams or 3.18 ounces. Because of the basket, it made a heavier rattle sound when lightly shaken. It sounded and felt like something heavier was in there.
Included in this set are a Plastic Shopping Basket, cookies, display tray, tongs, knife, stickers, frosting, and Bullseye The Dog Shapes to place on the frosted cookies.
The Ice Cream Sundae is really cute! This one weighed in at 96.4 g or 3.4 ounces for me. When you gently shake it, there is not much noise and it feels very compact. Included in this set are an ice cream container, tongs, spoon, scoop, two waffle bowls in a box, shopping bag, stickers, cherries, sprinkles, chocolate syrup and whipped topping.
For those of you who want to be completely surprised, or just don’t want to try to figure out the weights in store, I highly recommend ordering online. So far, all the ones I have opened have not disappointed!

Holiday Clearance at Target for 2023 is in full swing! I was shocked at how much clearance was available at my store!
There were aisles and aisles of candy, decor, stockings, wrapping paper, bows, outdoor decor, ornaments, garlands, tree toppers and more!
Perishables were all at 30%, while non-perishables were at 50%. If you can’t shop in stores, you can shop clearance online. Just keep in mind that the discount will probably be much steeper in stores.
Just as an example, this fun Wondershop wireless tree light controller was 50% off in store, but is only 15% off online. We have this and love it! We wound up giving ours to family, and turned around and bought another. At 50% off, it’s a great deal and I recommend it!
If you aren’t familiar, it wirelessly connects to your Christmas lights allowing you to locate it where it’s convenient for you to switch on the lights. AND, of course it’s great fun for kiddos!
My brother was here for the holidays and his back was to the tree. It was great fun watching him switch the lever on and off as he wondered what it did!
Clearance will vary from store to store, but here’s what I saw at mine.

In the pet department, watch for holiday treats, toys, and apparel also 50% off..
And, individual Christmas cards were also 50% off in the card section!
