If you are shopping in stores – cruise the toy aisles for sales at up to 50% off on all kinds of toys from lots of different brands. BUT – before you buy in stores, just take a quick peek on Target.com to make sure you won’t get a better deal price matching. For example – the Fisher-Price Zoom ‘n Crawl Monster is on sale in stores for $17.50, but it is on sale for $12.50 online at Target.com.
Another great example of a better deal with price matching is on the Minions Mineez. This is my favorite deal this week and I managed to add 3 different ones to my Minions collection. They are all the same DPCI, but there are several different variations. Yes, I have a thing for Minions 🙂 I also have a thing for small toys, so a win, win for me!
To price match- just bring your item & coupon up to Guest Services and show them the price on your phone, however they will likely verify on their own device. Some stores will allow you to price match up at a register, but some will not, so be prepared. Also to note – while my store allowed me to buy 3, Target does have the right to limit you to one identical DPCI per price match, and some stores may only let you do one.
But the advantage of shopping in stores is that you will have a much bigger selection of toys that are on sale. And there is even one deal this week, that will net you a MUCH bigger discount in stores thanks to a cartwheel offer…
