If you are looking to stock up on school supplies for next year on the cheap or want to donate to your local schools, be sure and keep a close eye on the Back to School section at Target. Different areas of the country may drop at different times depending on when their school year starts – my local Tampa store has select items already at 90% off.

But here in Tampa my son has been in school since the first week of August so we may be a bit early. But wherever you are, it’s definitely something to watch closely. Eventually this whole section needs to be cleared out for the next seasonal event to completely take over  – HALLOWEEN! 🙂

For me it seemed to be mostly up & up brand items that were 90% off, but my husband & I love taking the opportunity to donate a lot more than we normally could at full-price to our local elementary & middle schools. If you don’t see signs be sure and check up at the scanner, just in case they are wrong.

Much of the up & up Back to School will not be stickered – so it’s wise to check up at the scanner anyway to make sure what you have interest in is in fact discounted..

While I was pleased to see so much of the up & up unstickered – there are still brand name items that are, but already up to 70% off. Watch for Five Star, Elmer’s, Post-It and more. Here’s some coupons you may want to bring with you in case you find the same deep discounts…
