Here’s wishing you all a very Happy and safe Easter. Target is closed today and will reopen tomorrow, April 13th. While we should see all Easter decor go to 50% Off and candy & food items go to 30% tomorrow, Monday April 14th, I am not sure that will be the case.
Due to the circumstances this year I am just not quite sure what will happen. It may be slower to drop, or may just all drop at once, so we will have to wait and see. But if you are headed out to your stores next week for supplies, it’s worth a quick peek in Bullseye’s Playground and the Easter section if you have interest.
There’s some deep discounts on furniture on Target.com right now with savings of up to 40% off. Choose from lots of barstools, desks, library cabinets, ottomans and more. Some items are also available in several different colors as well. In addition, you can save an extra 10% off on select clearance furniture. No code is needed, the extra 10% off will automatically be applied in your cart to qualifying items.
Shipping is FREE on orders of $35 or more, or choose FREE store pickup where available. And as always, if you have a REDcard you will get FREE shipping with no minimum and an additional 5% Off.
Some of you may find up to 70% Off now for Valentine’s Day clearance today. I am actually visiting a friend in Long Island, New York right now and we went to her local store this morning to scout things out and found everything at 70 even though signage was at 50. This is why it always pays to use that scanner! 🙂
There are some super cute non-perishable items this year, including Spritz DIY mailbox decorating kits as low as .90 each. So keep an eye out for items that you can grab at a discount now and hold back to use next year. Valentine’s Day exchange cards are another item on clearance to watch for and put aside for next year too.
Also look for things you can use anytime of the year, like tissue paper as low as .60 if your store is at 70 too. These would be great to use for birthday gift bags all year long, and if you find any red, it would be perfect for Christmas. And the white could be used pretty much for any occasion.
Or, these nice boxed candles from Opalhouse that would make great little appreciation gifts for teachers, or to put aside in the gift closet. If your store is at 70, they will be just $3, regularly $10. You can also just hold onto them for next year too.
Also to note, while most items get brought to the clearance are – it still might be worth a look around other sections of the store for things that might be left in the regular aisles. For example, Pamela sent me this picture of Essie nail polish she found in the Health & Beauty section. While not stickered, it was ringing up as part of Valentine’s Day clearance.
If your store didn’t drop today, it is likely it will happen tomorrow and for a much larger percentage of stores. But always scan to be sure no matter what your signs say. It is possible for signs not to get switched out and usually it’s only a 2-3 day gap between 70 to 90 so keep a close eye on it. Once you hit 90, it will move fast and Target will be looking to clear the stuff off the floors. Good luck and Happy Hunting!
Keep an eye out at your stores for Colgate Zero Toothpaste on clearance for up to 50% off and as low as $2.48. There’s a coupon and an ibotta to grab them for as low as .50 if you find the clearance too…
if you don’t have the clearance at your stores, there are still nice deals to be had on this toothpaste and other Colgate oral care products. Thru February 22nd, Target is offering up a FREE $5 Gift Card when you buy 3 select Colgate priced $3.99 or higher. You cancheck out my post HERE for more deets.
Hope you all are enjoying a Happy Valentine’s Day! And, just a reminder that tomorrow (2/15) is the day Valentine’s clearance will begin. You should see most Valentine’s Day items go to 50% Off except Candy which should be at 30% Off.
Some food items typically lag at 30% Off to start with too. Bullseye’s Playground Valentine’s Day items should drop to 50 as well. It’s a great way to stock up on non-perishables for next year- and you may even find a few goodies you can tuck into this year’s Easter Baskets too!
