Changes to the Target Coupon Policy

Well if you have had a copy of Target’s Coupon Policy in your binders, it is time to print another one. Target has updated its Coupon Policy and the most notable difference is now addressing the quantity of coupons that can be used. You can view and print off a copy of Target’s Coupon Policy HERE. The following is what I see new in the policy…

1. Limit of 4 identical coupons per household, per day (unless otherwise noted on coupon)
so in other words if your coupon has wording on it that limits you to using less, you cannot use 4

2. Returns of items purchased using Manufacturer coupons may receive coupon value returned in the form of a Target GiftCard.  So for example, if you buy a Bottle of Pantene Shampoo for $3.49 and use a $1/1 Manufacturer’s Coupon on it and decide to return it. You may only get $2.49 refunded to you, and $1 will be put on a Target Gift Card. (Note- The value of a Target Coupon used is never refunded).

3. We reserve the right to accept, refuse or limit the use of any coupon.

4. We do not accept Canadian coupons in our US stores.

Are You Missing Totally Target on Facebook?

Many of you have been frustrated with Facebook and I don’t blame you. I am so frustrated too and I feel like as soon as I get the hang of everything they change it and I don’t know where to find anything anymore. 🙁

But I know the reason many of you are frustrated is because you have not been able to see me on your feeds and when it comes to hot deals, we can’t have that. SO… I turned to my buddy Tracie of Penny Pinchin’ Mom, who has helped me let you know a way to never miss a TT post again. Just follow these steps…

First, make sure you are logged in to your Facebook account and then go to my Facebook page HERE. If you haven’t already, go ahead and “Like” me first. 😉 Then, hover your mouse over “Liked” until you see “New List”.

Click on “New List” and the Totally Target button will show up in a new dialog box. Click on “next” at the bottom. You will then be asked to name your list and choose whether to make it public or private. Click “Done” and you’re all set.

All Totally Target posts will appear on your home page now. Your list is under “Interests” in the left-hand column. Anytime you want to see my posts at once in a list, click on the name and all my posts will show up on the right. Now you’ll never miss those hot deals!

–Thanks so much to Tracie of Penny Pinchin’ Mom for your help!

Snackurday Recipe: Dr. Pepper Cookies

Today Amanda has a recipe for Dr. Pepper cookies that require only 3 ingredients!  Prep time is only about 5 minutes and they bake in 10, so this is a super duper easy and fast recipe.

If you don’t have any Dr. Pepper around, you can certainly try substituting with what ever soda you have on hand.  You can also make these cookies with diet Dr. Pepper too!  You can get the recipe along with instructions on Amanda’s post HERE.

Homemade Waffles with Strawberries & Whip Cream

Since it’s Memorial Day Weekend, and a perfect time for breakfasts that are a little more on the special side, I thought I would share this recipe from my friend Karen. You can even add blueberries on top to make it red white and blue and a bit more patriotic. 😉

Many of you know Karen as a moderator on the TotallyTarget Forum, and she also does a tremendous job of helping me with my giveaways and other things around here on TT. But Karen is also a fabulous cook and I have managed to talk her into sharing one of her recipes & I hope there will be more to come.

Keep in mind if you are short on time, you could substitute with a boxed waffle mix and still use fresh fruit and fresh whipped cream to still make a delicious dish- but here is her recipe from scratch…

  • 2 cups Cake Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups milk

Directions: Preheat waffle iron. Sift together flour, salt & baking powder in a bowl and set aside. In second bowl mix together egg yolks and sugar until yolks turn pale yellow and sugar is dissolved. Add vanilla, butter, and milk & combine. Whisk the egg mixture into the flour mixture just until combined (do not over-mix). In a 3rd bowl beat egg whites with mixer until soft peaks form and then gently fold egg whites into batter with a rubber spatula. It’s important not to over-mix.

Coat the waffle iron with cooking spray and cook waffles until golden brown. Top with fresh made whipping cream (just whip 1 cup heavy whipping cream with 1 tablespoon sugar until it gets to the right consistency) and then pile on fresh strawberries and/or blueberries.

– Thanks so much for sharing Karen!
