For example, I found lots of different Axe deodorant on clearance, and while I didn’t test all of them – I did test the two DPCIs in my photo and they both prompted for the gift card just fine.

There’s actually quite a bit of clearance right now at stores on additional Unilever personal care products, and some of them are prompting for the gift card. If you want to make sure a clearance item is prompting for the gift card, you can always take it up to the register or guest services and ask them to scan it to make sure it’s working before you buy.
